Enterprise Ventures promotes two

Enterprise Ventures has promoted two team members to jointly head up the North West Fund for Venture Capital.
The appointments follow Richard Young's recent departure to join the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association.
Doug Stellman (pictured above) has been a team member for three years and is based in Manchester. He joined from YFM Equity Partners where he worked for more than 10 years, focusing on start-up and early-stage venture capital investing.
Will Clark (pictured right), based in Liverpool, has also been with the team for three years. He joined from 3i's team in the north west and prior to that was in EY's corporate finance team in Liverpool.
The North West Fund for Venture Capital was established in 2010 and expires at the end of 2015. So far the vehicle has invested £24m, with a further £9.5m raised in additional funding. The North West Fund for Venture Capital is part of the £155m North West Fund, which provides funding for SMEs in the region and is financed jointly by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank.
