Dunedin promotes Hoare and Rowan to partner
Mid-market private equity house Dunedin has promoted a number of its UK-based team, including the appointments of Nicholas Hoare and Simon Rowan to partner.

Hoare joined Dunedin in 2007 after two years with consultancy firm Accenture. He is responsible for sourcing and executing deals in the business services and healthcare sectors and has seats on the boards of prosthetics company Steeper and courier business CitySprint.
Rowan is responsible for sourcing and executing deals in the Midlands, with a focus on the industrial services sector. He has been with the firm since 2008, before which he had a five-year spell with HSBC.
Dunedin has also promoted Andrew Davidson to senior associate and Katie Chung to associate.
The appointments follow a particularly active period for the GP. In February, the firm acquired Alpha Financial Markets Consulting from previous backer Baird Capital in a deal worth £80m. Shortly afterwards, it sold its stake in CitySprint to LDC for £175m, a deal that saw Dunedin reinvest for an equity stake.
