Diana Noble joins BGF board
Business Growth Fund (BGF) has appointed Diana Noble as a new board member.
Noble is currently CEO of CDC, the UK's development finance institution, which manages net assets of £3.4bn. It provides investment capital to fund growth businesses in Africa and South Asia.
Noble was a partner at Schroder Ventures (now Permira) for 12 years, founder and CEO of E-Ventures and founding managing director of Reed Elsevier Ventures. She joined CDC after five years with the Clinton Foundation's Health Access Initiative, where she took a number of roles, including executive vice-president of operations.
Noble's appointment follows two hires earlier this year. In April, Ben Barker joined the investment team from Caird Capital, and Midven's Debbie Sorby joined as a portfolio manager in the Birmingham office.
