
Elaghmore acquires SB Components
Elaghmore Partners has acquired UK-based automotive components business SB Components.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though a spokesperson for Elaghmore told unquote" the GP typically looks to write equity cheques of £5-10m.
The deal marks the first investment with capital drawn from its £60m maiden fund, which recently held its final close.
With the backing of Elaghmore, SB Components is investing in the expansion of its existing manufacturing facility in Wisbech. The expanded site will accommodate the growth of the company's commercial body division.
