ECI acquires minority stake in Edenhouse
ECI Partners has acquired a minority stake in UK software consultancy Edenhouse Solutions.
The deal marks the GP's second investment in the tech consultancy segment in the past six months. In July 2016, it acquired a majority stake in IT support and consultancy business IT Lab in order to support an acquisitive growth strategy.
Following the deal, Edenhouse CEO Paul Solomon will continue to lead the business alongside the existing management team.
ECI is currently investing from its 10th fund, which held a final close on its £500m hard-cap in September 2014. The vehicle focuses on buyout investments in firms with an enterprise value of between £20-150m.
Company
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Coleshill, Warwickshire, Edenhouse provides consultancy, installation and support for software related to SAP databases. The business has a headcount of 250 with additional offices in Birmingham, Farnborough and Manchester.
Edenhouse generated a turnover of £30m in the year ending April 2016, according to publicly available records, with an operating profit of £5.6m.
