
Maven backs £6m MBO of ProspectSoft
Maven Capital Partners has led a £6m management buyout for ProspectSoft, a developer of customer relationship management (CRM) and e-commerce software.
Following the deal, Maven will support the company in its launch of cloud-based product Prospect365.
The deal is Maven's second buyout transaction of 2017, following the £6.5m MBO of healthcare and beauty products supplier Healthpoint in February.
According to publicly available documents, finance director Derrick Ardron and company secretary Patricia Anne Ardron have stepped down from ProspectSoft's board of directors as part of the deal.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire, ProspectSoft develops software focusing on CRM, e-commerce and marketing activity. The product supplies clients with data on their customers, enabling them to analyse behaviour and adjust their sales strategies accordingly.
