LDC sells TCEG to Huntworth in £25m EV deal
LDC has sold events and marketing group The Creative Engagement Group (TCEG) to listed trade buyer Huntsworth in a deal giving the company an enterprise value of ТЃ25m.
Under the GP's tenure, the business undertook an acquisitive growth strategy, making three bolt-on investments. In 2016, it acquired Just Communicate and merged with The Moment – a spinout from LDC portfolio company TwoFour Group.
Following the merger with The Moment, the company rebranded from WRG to its current TCEG name.
Following the deal, TCEG's existing management team led by CEO Russ Lidstone and chief operating officer David Sharrock will continue in their current roles.
Previous funding
LDC invested £12m in TCEG (then know as WRG) in August 2011.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in London, TCEG provides marketing and events planning services to clients in the healthcare, professional services, banking, leisure and tourism sectors. It continues to operate under the WRG, The Moment and Just Communicate brands.
