Bregal Sagemount invests in Options
Bregal Sagemount has invested almost $100m in UK-based financial IT company Options.
The fresh capital will enable Options to invest in the development of its cloud-based platform and the expansion of its team.
According to a statement, the company's US revenues more than doubled between 2014-2016, while its overall headcount increased from 110 to around 200.
The GP is currently investing from its second vehicle, Bregal Sagemount II, which held a first and final close on its $960m hard-cap in February 2017.

Founded in 1993 and headquartered in London, Options provides cloud-based IT infrastructure for financial clients including investment banks, hedge funds, funds-of-funds, proprietary trading firms, private equity houses and exchanges. It also recently launched a financial technology consultancy arm.
The company has operations in London, New York, Belfast, Hong Kong, Singapore, Toronto, Dublin, Geneva, and the Caribbean. According to publicly available records, it generated a turnover of £36.5m in 2016, with an operating profit of £3.5m.
