
Inflexion acquires Alston Elliot
London-based Inflexion Private Equity has acquired UK-based Alston Elliot, a graphics service provider for live sports broadcasts.
With the fresh capital, Alston Elliot intends to broaden its service offering and expand into other sports to build an international brand.
Inflexion tapped its Enterprise Fund IV, which held a final close on £328m in May 2016. The fund focuses on the UK lower-mid-market and continues to use its predecessor funds' strategies, investing equity of £10-20m for both majority and minority stakes. The vehicle invests across all sectors throughout the UK.

Founded in 1992 and headquartered in London, Alston Elliot provides television sports graphics to broadcasters. The firm initially provided computerised graphics to the BBC for its coverage of test cricket and world snooker events.
It employs a staff of 100 across offices in London, Johannesburg, New Delhi and Melbourne. Clients include Sky, BT, ESPN, Fox, Star, SuperSport and the BBC.
