
Downing invests in £5m round for Hackajob
Axa Venture Partners has led a £5m funding round for tech jobs board Hackajob.
The series-A round also included Downing Ventures and follows two previous rounds led by Downing Ventures and angel investor Dragos Nicolaescu.
The funds will be used to open offices in Paris, Berlin and the US, and to continue building its proprietary tech recruitment technology. Axa Venture's Imran Akram has joined Hackajob's board.

Hackajob is a tech-specific jobs board that automatically matches clients with candidates and enables them to view their code or cloud infrastructure implementation alongside their profile. Companies can also manage interviews, integrate with existing applicant tracking software and ask candidates to complete specific challenges unique to their company and built by Hackajob.
It was founded in 2014, employs 60 staff and is based in London.
