
Total Capital Partners backs winter services firm Gritit
Total Capital Partners has acquired a 40% stake in Gritit, a gritting and grounds maintenance firm.
The investment – a combination of equity and debt – will support organic growth and acquisitions. Total Capital is currently investing on a deal-by-deal basis, and raises capital from UK institutional investors and family offices. Managing partner Natalie Eastham will join Gritit's board.
Total Capital said Gritit was at the forefront of technology development in its sector.
Company
Established in 2004 and based in Surrey, Gritit provides gritting and snow clearance services to commercial properties in the UK. It generated revenues of £25m in the year ending in September 2018, an increase of 150% over the last two years, and employs 150 full-time staff. It can employ up to 400 during the peak winter season.
