
August invests in Charterhouse Voice and Data
August Equity has invested in UK-based IT company Charterhouse Voice and Data.
Financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, though August is currently investing from its £224m fourth fund, which typically writes equity cheques of £20-25m for businesses generating up to £5m of EBITDA. The vehicle also typically pursues buy-and-build strategies.
According to a statement, the deal will enable Charterhouse to pursue an international expansion strategy.
At the time of publication, Unquote was awaiting a response to a request for comment from August.

Founded in 1993, London-headquartered Charterhouse Voice and Data provides IT consultancy services and cloud-based systems incorporating voice communication, collaboration tools, cybersecurity and digital transformation services.
According to publicly available documents, the company generated EBITDA of £2.1m from revenues of £20.5m in the year ending in November 2017.
