Corsair buys Zedra Group
Financial-services-focused private equity firm Corsair Capital has acquired corporate and fund services firm Zedra Group.
Corsair has acquired a majority stake in the business from Zedra's current owners, the Nielsen and Sarikhani families.
At the close of the transaction, group deputy chairman Bart Deconinck will become group executive chairman.
Company
Zedra is an independent corporate and fund services firm. It was created by the carve-out of onshore and offshore trust businesses from Barclays in 2016.
The firm has offices in 13 jurisdictions including the UK, Switzerland, Jersey, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Luxembourg and Malta. It employs 500 people.
