
LDC invests £17.6m in Amberjack MBO
LDC has invested £17.6m in the management buyout of Amberjack, a UK-headquartered recruitment software developer and consultancy.
The transaction also includes funding to support investment in product development and potential bolt-on acquisitions.
LDC investment directors Chris Baker and Alastair Weinel will take seats on the Amberjack board of directors as part of the deal. The GP has also introduced former Masternaut and Access Group chief financial officer Paul Bosson as non-executive chairperson at Amberjack.
According to a statement issued by the GP, Amberjack has grown by more than 15% per year since its foundation in 2000.

Founded in 2000, and headquartered in Newbury, Berkshire, Amberjack provides recruitment consultancy and software, with a particular focus on graduates. Its software automates certain aspects of the recruitment process, including the management of application volumes and data-based assessment. Its clients include Unilever, GlaxoSmithKline, Mars, Network Rail, BP, Heathrow Airport and Virgin Media Liberty Global.
