RJD backs land surveyor Survey Solutions
RJD Partners has acquired a minority stake in UK-based land and building surveys provider Survey Solutions.
Unquote understands that the company's enterprise value is less than £15m.
The GP invested alongside Survey Solutions' management team, led by the company's founder and CEO, James Cooper, who will retain the majority holding.
Cooper will continue to lead the business alongside regional directors and co-shareholders Dave Bredin, Richard Glenn, Greg Norman and Paul Singleton. In addition, Richard Caston, managing partner at RJD Partners, will join the board of Survey Solutions.
RJD intends to support the management team in this new phase of expansion and boost the company's growth, both organically and via additional acquisitions complementary to the current service offering.
This is the fifth investment made by the GP via its RJD Fund III, which held a final close on £60m in April 2016. The vehicle invests in companies operating within niches in the consumer and services sectors with enterprise values of up to £50m. Unquote understands that the fund is now more than 50% deployed.
