FPE Capital buys artwork management specialist Kallik
FPE Capital has acquired UK-based labelling and artwork management specialist Kallik.
The GP deployed capital from FPE Fund II, which held a final close on £100m in October 2017. The vehicle targets buyout and growth investments in UK-based companies with enterprise values of £20-50m and turnover in the £5-25m range. As a side strategy, the fund also offers co-investment opportunities to its LPs, which are a mixture of institutional investors and family offices based in the UK, the US and mainland Europe.
FPE intends to combine the existing management team with a new executive board to accelerate the company's growth. The newly appointed management team will include former Zinc Ahead head of sales David Bennett, and software executive and former chair of FPE's portfolio company Kallidus, John Hawkins, as non-executive chair.
The GP plans to accelerate the company's growth across all its segments, boost its expansion into new markets and regions, and scale up its team.
