
LDC exits FCBI to Thomson Reuters
LDC has exited business events operator FC Business Intelligence to Thomson Reuters.
During LDC’s holding period, the company focused on improving customer experience and engagement and increased the size of its events such as Eyeforpharma Barcelona, Petrochemical Update Downstream, EFT 3PL & Supply Chain Summit and Insurance Nexus Connected Claims.
FCBI has rebranded as Reuters Events and will operate as part of the Reuters News division of the media company. It also plans to expand into new markets and geographies.
The company generates an annual turnover of £30m.
Previous funding
LDC invested in FCBI in 2018. The company was valued at £60-80m, according to Unquote sister publications Debtwire and Mergermarket.
