
Connection Capital sells JCRA

Connection Capital has sold financial risk management advisory company JCRA to Chatham Financial.
The sale generated an "attractive return" in a short timeframe for shareholders, according to a statement.
During Connection Capital's holding period, the company expanded in Europe, the US and Canada.
Chatham Financial is a US-based trade buyer engaged in risk management advisory and technology services. The acquirer purchased JCRA to develop its business in Europe and strengthen its position in the hedging and financial risk advisory sector.
Previous funding
Connection Capital backed the £13.6m management buyout of the company, providing £6.7m to support the 2017 deal.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in London, JCRA is a currency hedging, financial risk and debt consultancy business. It primarily advises on project finance, private equity, corporate investment, social housing, real estate and operating assets including care provision and student accommodation.
