Terra Firma appoints Ahuja as CEO
Terra Firma Capital Partners has appointed Vivek Ahuja as CEO.
In his new position, Ahuja will be responsible for the leadership of Terra Firma. He will continue to manage people and resources within the firm, as well as ensure effective processes are in place to manage its existing portfolio businesses.
He joined Terra Firma in January 2018 as group CFO and chief operating officer. Prior to that, Ahuja held positions at Standard Chartered Bank, including deputy group CFO. He has also worked at HSBC and ANZ.
Terra Firma is currently investing from its Special Opportunities Fund II, which closed on £500m in December 2017.
In March 2020, the firm cancelled its summer internship programme as a response to the coronavirus crisis. Around 80% of its principals join through the graduate analyst programme, according to reports.
