
Mayfair announces five promotions

Mayfair Equity Partners has announced five promotions on its investment team, including Paul Reading as managing director and Shiva Tiwari as director.
Paul Reading has been promoted to managing director from portfolio director, a role he has held since joining the firm in 2019. Reading will focus on achieving operational improvements with portfolio companies, including post-merger integration, carve-outs and business operations updates. He joined the firm from his position as partner in the private equity team at EY.
Shiva Tiwari has been promoted to director. He joined Mayfair in 2018 as an associate director, having previously worked at Inflexion, in Credit Suisse's M&A team, and as a private equity lawyer at Clifford Chance.
Kristina Hristova has been promoted to associate director from senior associate. Hristova started at the firm in 2018, joining from The Wicks Group, where she was an associate in New York. She started her career in the M&A division of Barclays Investment Banking.
Aryo Tehranian and Omar Kanafani have both been promoted to senior associate from associate. Tehranian and Kanafani joined Mayfair in 2019, with Tehranian joining from the leveraged finance sponsors group at Credit Suisse and Kanafani from Partners Group, prior to which he was a management consultant at Parthenon.
Mayfair is currently investing from its second-generation fund, which closed on £650m in January 2019.
