Piper promotes McAlpine to investment manager

Piper Private Equity has promoted Flora McAlpine to the position of investment manager.
She joined Piper in September 2018 as investment executive and supports the deal team on origination, evaluation and execution of new investments in the consumer branded space – including recent Piper investments in Mindful Chef and Mous.
McAlpine joined the firm from strategy consultancy Parthenon-EY, where she advised on the acquisition of companies such as Riviera Travel and 3V Natural Foods Group. She previously worked as an analyst at Oakley Capital, focusing on investments in early-stage UK retail and leisure brands.
Consumer-focused investor Piper is currently investing from its seventh-generation fund, which closed on £125m in May 2016.
