
NB closes Euro Crossroads 2018 fund on €260m
Neuberger Berman (NB) has held a final close for its Euro Crossroads 2018 fund on €260m.
The fund is structured as a Luxembourg special limited partnership under the RAIF regime and had a target of €200m.
The Crossroads funds-of-funds platform was first established in the early 1980s.
The fund will be managed by Joana Rocha Scaff, head of Europe private equity, and Philipp Patschkowski, senior member of NB's private investments portfolio group.
Investors
Euro Crossroads 2018's investor base includes pension funds, insurance companies and family offices from across Europe and the Nordic region.
LPs in previous Crossroads vehicles include the Iowa State University Foundation, the Northumberland County Council Pension Fund and Somerset County Council Pension Fund, according to Unquote Data.
Investments
The vehicles will invest in private equity funds on a primary and secondary basis, and back direct co-investments. It will be diversified across four strategic asset classes: small and mid-cap buyout; large-cap buyout; growth and venture capital; and special situations.
