
LDC backs £30m DoubleEdge, Foehn and Metaphor IT merger
LDC has backed a £30m merger of IT firms DoubleEdge Professional Services, Foehn and Metaphor IT.
The new group will be called Kerv and will have £20m in revenues and 100 employees.
The new business is expected to drive further organic growth and identify further complementary acquisitions supported by follow-on funding from LDC.
The leadership team at Kerv will consist of Alastair Mills as executive chairman, managing director Mike Ing, and Andrew Marshall, group CFO. The management team of each of the three businesses will all stay with Kerv and join the senior team.

London-based DoubleEdge Professional Services specialises in unified communications, voice, data, mobility and compliance. It was founded in 2006.
Richmond-based Foehn is an R&D team, cloud unified communications and contact centre provider founded in 2000.
Founded in 2015 and based in London, Metaphor IT specialises in cloud services, digital workspaces, and IT managed services.
