NVM makes four promotions
NVM Private Equity has promoted four members of its team, including three to partner.
Charlie Pidgeon, James Bryce and Simon John are all promoted to partner, while Sam Sinclair will take on the role of head of talent and value creation.
Previously an investment director and investment manager at the firm, Pidgeon is based in London and has been a member of the investment team since 2012. He has worked on a variety of investments and disposals, including Agilitas, No.1 Lounges, Primal Pantry, Intuitive and Lending Works. Previously, he spent six years with PwC working with a range of SMEs and founder-led businesses as a manager in corporate finance.
Bryce is based in Newcastle and is NVM's head of legal and compliance. In addition to overseeing all of the firms transactional, legal and compliance obligations, he also works extensively with the portfolio. Sinclair joined NVM in 2018 and was previously a partner with Square One Law leading its corporate team, after acting as a principal associate at Eversheds.
John is based in Newcastle and is the firm's finance director. John is responsible for leading all aspects of the finance function and investor relations. He also played a significant role in the recent sale of the VCT fund management business and in NVM's fundraising activities in recent years. Before joining NVM in 2016, John was vice-president of investor relations at Sage Group and, prior to that, was part of the PwC corporate finance team.
Sinclair is based in London and is responsible for the firm's portfolio value creation activities. He works extensively with NVM's portfolio and leads many of the relationships with NVM's due diligence providers, consultants and community of non-executives. He joined the firm in 2018 and was previously a consultant at executive search firm Korn Ferry.
