
LDC appoints new CEO
LDC has appointed Toby Rougier as CEO, with former CEO Martin Draper assuming the role of deputy chairman.
The appointments will take effect on 1 January 2021.
Rougier joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he is currently group corporate treasurer. He has been a non-executive director on LDC's board since 2017. Rougier previously acted as managing director of corporate banking at Santander and was a consultant at McKinsey.
Draper, who joined the firm in 2002, will also remain chairman of LDC's investment committee. Under his leadership, the firm has generated proceeds of £5.2bn, invested £2.3bn in capital and completed more than 400 transactions, according to a statement.
