SilverTree acquires Orbus
SilverTree has acquired Orbus Software, a provider of enterprise architecture software.
The technology-focused fund invests $5-60m across the life a portfolio asset. It focuses on businesses with revenue of $5-120m, investing through leveraged buyouts, corporate divestures, growth equity deals and special situations.
The existing Orbus management team will stay in place, with Hayden Eastwood as CEO, Rupert Colbourne as chief technology officer, Peter Bates as head of Americas, Tim Mitchell as head of marketing, and Oliver Hecquer as head of consultancy and support.
Joining the company's advisory board are Vin Murria, the founder of Advanced Computer Software; Adam Hale, the former CEO of Fairsail and chairman of the ScaleUp Institute; and Matt Harris, a former partner at KPMG and FTI Consulting.

It was founded in 2004.
