
Comhar acquires Bazaar for £10m
Comhar Capital has acquired furniture manufacturer and retailer The Bazaar Group.
The firm has acquired a majority share in the business in its fifth deal since it was founded in 2018. Founders Jayne and Mark Dolder will retain a minority stake in Bazaar.
The funding will support Bazaar's market development, which is focused on international expansion and particularly on new e-commerce platforms in the UK and Europe.
Bazaar is expecting revenues approaching £15m in 2021, according to a statement. Neil Armstrong and Craig Wilkinson, managing directors of the company, will both join its board.

Bazaar was established in 2005 and operates from its headquarters in Cramlington, employing 51 people. The company runs two brands – Icon and Eden Learning Services – and specialises in beanbag manufacturing.
