BGF sells Renal Services
BGF has sold dialysis services provider Renal Services to healthcare group DaVita UK.
The company's founder and former CEO will be replaced by Kathy Lloyd, its chief operating officer.
During BGF's holding period, James Buckley joined the company as non-executive chairman. He was formerly CEO of Tunstall Group and has opened 16 new clinics in the UK.
Previous funding
BGF invested £3.1m for a minority stake in Renal Services in 2014. The investment went towards funding three new centres and providing working capital to enable the business to compete for additional contracts.
Company
Headquartered in London, Renal Services operates 21 dialysis units across the UK and treats 1,300 permanent and transient patients with kidney disease, according to a statement. It was founded in 2007.
