Montagu hires Woehl as ESG manager
Mid-market GP Montagu Private Equity has announced it has hired Kim Woehl as ESG manager.
Woehl joins from PwC, where she spent four years as a manager in the firm's sustainability and climate change practice. Woehl also has prior experience at environmental data and risk analysis firm Trucost.
The appointment is intended to strengthen Montagu's ESG agenda, the firm said in a statement. The firm's recent commitments to ESG have included the publication of its 2020 Responsibility Report, as well as updates to its investment policy and monitoring processes to reflect its goals in areas including climate and diversity and inclusion.
Montagu has announced four platform deals to date in 2021, the latest of which was the acquisition of orthopaedic surgical tools manufacturer Intech from Eurazeo, as reported.
The GP is currently deploying via its EUR 3.5bn Montagu VI vehicle, which held a final close in Q2 2020, according to Unquote Data.
