Warwick Capital closes third fund on USD 430m
UK-based investment management firm Warwick Capital Partners has held a final close for Warwick Opportunities Fund III on USD 430m.
Warwick Opportunities Fund III was launched in January 2020 and received commitments from Warwick's existing and new investors, including pension funds, funds-of-funds, high-net-worth individuals and family offices, according to a press release.
Warwick focuses on European special situations, and provides portfolio management and advisory services to individuals including family offices and high-net-worth individuals, according to Bloomberg. Warwick focuses on European mid-market dislocations, and the investments it makes are agnostic towards sectors and capital structure, according to its website.
Warwick's current portfolio includes UK-based Allica Bank, a bank for SMEs, according to Unquote Data. In November 2021, Warwick co-led a Series B round for Allica with Atalaya Capital Management, raising GBP 110m.
Macfarlanes (which provided legal advice to the GP) and Warwick did not respond to a request for comments at the time of publication.
