Bregal Freshstream invests in Taziker
Bregal Freshstream has invested in Bolton-based Taziker Industrial, a provider of protective coverings for the construction sector.
The deal is Bregal Freshstream's second following the launch of its €600m maiden fund in 2015, having acquired a majority stake in Belgian business Lunch Garden.
Company
Founded by Tom Taziker in 1969, Taziker provides steelwork, surface preparation and scaffolding across landmark structures, bridges and industrial complexes. Notable projects include the Tay Bridge in Dundee and the Royal Albert Bridge in Cornwall.
Around 75% of Taziker's revenues are currently generated via the rail industry as it is a principal contractor for Network Rail. The company also recently secured a framework agreement for London Underground's station works and improvement programme.
For the year to March 2015, Taziker generated turnover of £37m and EBITDA of £7.5m.
The Bolton-headquartered company employs 580 people.
