BGF pumps £6m into Zone
The Business Growth Fund (BGF) has invested ТЃ6m into London-based digital marketing agency Zone.
BGF took a minority stake in the company as part of the transaction.
Company
Established in 2000, Zone is a digital marketing agency offering campaign management, web design, social media management, customer relationship management and content creation (videos, blogs and games) services. Clients include Coca-Cola, Tesco and BT.
The company is based in London with further operations in Bristol, Berlin and Köln. Zone employs 180 people across its four offices. The company expects to generate a £17m turnover this year.
People
James Freedman is CEO and founder of Zone. Jim Kelly, co-founder of Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe, has been appointed non-executive director.
BGF senior investment manager Mark Nunny has joined Zone's board as part of the deal.
