
Encore picks up 37 Degrees from Albion
Just two weeks after acquiring The Third Space from Graphite Capital, Encore Capital has purchased health club 37 Degrees from Albion Ventures.
The deal is part of Encore-backed Reebok Sports Club's growth strategy, which is on its way to creating a London-centric luxury health club group. At the end of October, Encore acquired high-end health club The Third Space.
Previous funding
Albion supported the creation of 37 Degrees health club in May 2006, when the GP was known as Close Venture Management, in partnership with Ark Leisure Management.
Company
37 Degrees is a 'premium' health club based in the More London estate, near Tower Bridge. It offers a 20-metre swimming pool, sauna, steam room, several studies, a spa and gym. The club counts 3,000 members.
