
Rutland's Laidlaw buys Timbmet Door Solutions
Laidlaw Interiors Group, an interior products firm backed by Rutland Partners, has acquired doorsets and interior products supplier Timbmet Door Solutions Ltd (TDSL) for £7.8m.
The acquisition will improve the expanded firm's supply chain.
Rutland acquired Laidlaw Interiors Group in July 2011.
Company
Founded in 2002 and based in Leicester, Timbmet Door Solutions supplies specialist fire-door products. The company has six regional offices in the UK, a production facility in Mansfield and a manufacturing facility in India.
TDSL employs 200 members of staff and reported a turnover of £21m and an EBITDA of £1.5m for the year ending on 31 March 2012.
