
Mobeus commits further £3.9m to Automated Systems
Mobeus has injected a further £3.9m into Automated Systems Group to support the bolt-on of Copyfax.
The acquisition will expand the company's reach in East Anglia.
Mobeus has now committed more than £10m to the business, following an £8.5m management buyout in 2011. In April that year, the GP supported the £4.1m acquisition of Transcribe Copier Systems.
Automated Systems Group now has a combined headcount of more than 100 staff.
Across 2014, Mobeus has exited seven portfolio companies, returning £93.6m in cash proceeds to Mobeus VCTs. The average money multiple has reached 3x. Most recently, Mobeus sold Emac for £36m, enjoying 3.1x money.
