Notion, White Star lead $7m round for Glow
European venture investors Notion Capital and White Star Capital have led a $7m series-A funding round for Glow Digital Media, a London-based social advertising platform.
The company's existing investors, Project A Ventures and Avonmore Developments, also participated in the funding round. The latest round takes Glow's total fundraising to $8.3m.
The company will use the fresh funding to develop its platform and boost its plans for international expansion.
Previous funding
In 2013, Project A and Avonmore committed $1.3m to the business to facilitate the hiring of four new senior executives and the expansion of its operations into the US.
Company
Founded in London in 2009, Glow has developed a social advertising platform called Glow Machine, which helps direct response advertisers build and manage their Facebook advertising campaigns.
Outside the UK, the company also has a presence in New York and Singapore.
People
Damian Routley is the co-founder and CEO of Glow. Ian Milbourn is a partner and CFO at Notion. Eric Martineau-Fortin is a managing partner at White Star.
