
NBGI's Horizon Care acquires Educare
NBGI Private Equity-backed specialist care provider Horizon Care has acquired care and education business Educare Adolescent Services Ltd.
Following completion of the deal, Horizon Care will operate 34 homes and seven schools across the British Midlands, adding new facilities in Staffordshire, Greater Manchester and Kent.
The Co-operative Bank provided debt for the deal.

Educare is a care and education provider based in Newcastle-under-Lyme. It provides care and education services to children between the age of 11-18.

Belinda Berkeley and David Turner led the acquisition on behalf of NBGI. Thelma Turner is CEO of Horizon Care.
