Gresham's James Grant Group buys Hall or Nothing
James Grant Group, a UK-based talent management and professional services business owned by Gresham Private Equity, has acquired music management agency Hall or Nothing.
The bolt-on will allow James Grant to strengthen its offering in the music industry, which has been an ongoing objective since Gresham acquired the business in 2009.
The GP backed the management buyout of five of AIM-listed Formation Group's nine businesses in 2009, in a deal valued at £20.75m, creating the newco James Grant Group Ltd. Gresham provided both equity and debt to finance the transaction. Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets contributed working capital facilities.
