YFM and MMC inject £1.5m into KnowledgeMill
YFM Equity Partners and MMC Ventures have co-invested ТЃ1.5m in London-based email management platform KnowledgeMill.
YFM Equity made the capital injection through its managed fund Seraphim Capital, a £30m venture capital firm backed by a consortium of investors.
The capital injection will allow the firm to expand its team and market its products to a wider audience.

Founded in 2009 and based in London, KnowledgeMill has developed a cloud-based email management software platform to address needs for filing, archiving and document management. The platform assigns a ‘context' to each email and automatically files emails according to work stream and project and fosters collaborative working, allowing all relevant staff to view the email. The platform saves IT infrastructure and back-up time.

Mark Boggett and James Bruegger led the transaction for YFM and Seraphim respectively. Jon Coker and Simon Menashy worked on the deal for MMC. Hisham Anis is CEO of KnowledgeMill.
