
Mercia, Finance Wales in $1m series-A round for Thalia
Mercia Fund Management and Finance Wales have led a $1m series-A round for Thalia Design Automation.
The company has also received grant funding from the Technology Strategy Board and the Welsh government.
The firm will use the fresh funding to develop its automation technology and to boost its presence in Cwmbran.

Thalia provides tools for optimising analogue, mixed signal and power designs via the automation of design cycles and production. Its electronic design automation tools aim to simplify and speed up design processes of electronic chips.
The firm employs eight staff and is based in Cwmbran and Bangalore.
