Leeds Equity takes 25% stake in Into University Partnerships
US-based Leeds Equity Partners has made a ТЃ66m investment in British education services company Into University Partnerships in return for a 25% equity stake.
The investment value of Into infrastructure projects currently exceeds £200m. The company expects to see its size more than double over the next five years.
Company
Founded in 2005 and based in Brighton, Into employs a partnership approach and global marketing network to help universities in the US and UK increase student capacity, drive additional revenue and support greater international student mobility.
Into formed an initial joint venture partnership with the University of East Anglia in 2005. Since then Into has launched a further 15 joint venture university partnerships in the UK, US and Asia.
Current partners include the University of Exeter, Newcastle University, Oregon State University, Colorado State University, the University of South Florida and Nankai University.

Jeffrey T Leeds is the president and co-founder of Leeds Equity and works alongside managing director Carter Harned. Andrew Colin, John Sykes and Steven Smale are founders and directors of Into.
