
Sun European Partners sells $72m Lee Cooper Jeans to Iconix
Sun European Partners has sold British apparel brand Lee Cooper Jeans to Iconix Brand Group for $72m.
Following Sun European Partners' disposal, Lee Cooper will be part of a brand portfolio that includes Ed Hardy, Candie's and Rocawear.
Sun European Partners acquired Lee Cooper for £30.5m in May 2005. The 180 Group and Emersique were minority co-investors in the equity syndicate.

Lee Cooper Jeans is a British clothing brand, licensing apparel, footwear and accessories under its name. It was founded in 1913 and is headquartered in Slough.
The brand is sold in 80 countries worldwide. Its annual sales amount to approximately $500m.
