TVbeat secures $2m
London-based TVbeat, which provides real-time television ratings, has raised $2m from Episode 1 and Credo Ventures.
The fresh funding will allow the firm to expand into new European markets and develop its platform.
Episode 1 was the lead backer in the round. The tech-focused investor launched in October 2013 to support early-stage companies via its £37.5m Enterprise Capital Fund.
Credo is an early-stage firm based in the Czech Republic.

Based in London and founded in 2013, TVbeat provides real-time ratings to broadcasters, advertisers and pay-TV providers. The firm's platform measures more than 15 million customer interactions per day using live data from connected set top boxes and other connected devices.
The company has piloted its services in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia.
