
SEB leads $5m round for Innometrics
SEB Venture Capital has led a $5m series-A round for Innometrics, a London-based developer of software-as-a-service (SaaS) for marketers.
Existing backer Fortunator Invest and various business angels also contributed to the funding round.
The company will use the fresh capital to expand its European operations, invest in sales and marketing, and develop its platform.
Company
Founded in 2011 and based in London, Innometrics is a SaaS provider that allows users to boost marketing and sales strategies through the provision of customer data in real-time. Users are then able to adapt marketing and customer-facing applications according to the data.
More than 50 brands use the product including Arla Foods and Hutchinson 3G.
The firm has offices in London and Stockholm, with further openings in Mumbai and San Francisco expected.

Patrik Westerberg is investment manager at SEB and worked on the deal. Mattias Sesemann is founding partner at Fortunator.
