Procuritas acquires Calorex in bolt-on
Swedish GP Procuritas has acquired UK-based Calorex Heat Pumps from RHP Group as a bolt-on for its recent acquisition Dantherm.
The carve-out was financed with commitments from Procuritas Capital Investors V, a 2012-vintage €200m fund.
Procuritas will acquire all of the shares in Calorex for the merger, though Calorex and Dantherm will operate as two separate brands in the market. The new group will have total revenues of around DKK 430m and Procuritas expects the two companies' product strength and market presence to provide synergies for both.

Founded in the early 1980s and based in Maldon, Essex, Calorex Heat Pumps is a manufacturer of dehumidifiers and heat pumps for swimming pools.
The company employs a staff of 120 and had turnover of £13.48m for the year ending in March 2014.
