Bridges Ventures et al. inject £2.6m in Historic Futures
Bridges Ventures has led a ТЃ2.6m funding round in UK-based supply chain traceability company Historic Futures (HF).
Oxford Technology Management, an existing investor in HF, provided equity via the £30m OTECF fund. Bridges Ventures joined the round as a new investor with a £1.6m contribution. The round was completed by other existing shareholders and new business angels.
The fresh equity will fund the roll out of HF's supply chain traceability software ‘String'.
Company
Established in 2003, Historic Futures has developed a web-based supply chain traceability platform known as ‘String'. It targets retailers and labelling organisations, including M&S, Levi's, Walmart, MSC and FSC.
