SEP backs Car Loan 4U with £8m
Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) has invested ТЃ8m in Car Loan 4U, a UK online car finance specialist.
Car Loan 4U has been self-funded to date. The fresh capital will be used for accelerating Car Loan 4U's growth, which has hastened over the last 12 months.
The company hopes to at least quadruple its annual revenues over the next four years. It seeks to achieve this by building the Car Loan 4U brand as well as its technology, allowing it to capitalise on the trend of greater online loan provision.

Founded in 2006 by entrepreneurs James Wilkinson and Ryan Dignan, Car Loan 4U provides an online service for car finance. The company has a turnover of £11m and employs 150 people.

Andrew Davison is a partner at SEP and will join the company's board. James Wilkinson is the CEO of Car Loan 4U.
