
Octopus-backed Zoopla aquires UpMyStreet
Octopus Venture Partners’ portfolio company Zoopla.co.uk has bought property information website UpMyStreet.com.
The deal is understood to have been financed directly by the company without the involvement of Octopus capital.
It follows the Office of Fair Trading's green light for Zoopla's merger with Digital Property Group which is expected to complete shortly.
Customers logging into UpMyStreet will be directed to Zoopla's website from now on.

UpMyStreet launched in 1998 as one of the first property websites in the UK. Its customer base comprises around 600,000 unique users.
