Finance Wales continues support of KWR
Regional investor Finance Wales has injected £250,000 into software firm KWR Technologies Ltd (KWR).
Finance Wales has backed KWR twice in the past through the provision of loan facilities.
The equity investment will allow KWR subsidiary Accelero to develop and launch a new software tool named EnGenero.
Company
KWR is a software firm based in Bridgend. KWR's subsidiary, Accelero, is currently developing a new software tool named EnGenero, which reduces the time and cost of developing business software.
EnGenero was originally developed as an internal tool to speed up software development within the company, before extending the service to the wider market. The tool can aid the creation of applications for multiple platforms including Android, Blackberry, Apple and Microsoft Windows.
KWR employs 20 members of staff. The company's turnover in the 2012-13 financial year is predicted to grow by 100% compared to 2010 figures.
