
Octopus and DN Capital in £555,000 seed round for Eve
Octopus Investments has invested £225,000 in UK online mattress retailer Eve, topping up a £330,000 February seed round led by DN Capital and FJ Labs.
The £555,000 raised for Eve will be mainly used to fund sales and marketing efforts, as well as to help the company develop its offering and support its business in the UK and Germany.
After raising capital from DN Capital and FJ Labs, Eve claimed it was on track to reach revenue of £1m in its first year, despite having only been in business since the beginning of 2015.
The company now expects to reach £1m in sales by the end of June.

Founded by former Zalando UK and Groupon UK head Jas Bagniewski in 2015, Eve is an online mattress retailer.
The company's product is a mattress designed in Germany and manufactured on demand in the UK to sell directly to customers online. Eve currently sells its products in both Germany and the UK.
